Converse Travel Bags: Don’t Settle for Luggage that Isn’t You

Cool travel bags – An essential but often overlooked item that should be found in everyone’s closet. Don’t tell me you’re still using that plain black wheeled bag you bought just hours before a trip? Well there is a cool luggage option that won’t cost you a ton and will still let you have your [...]

New Year’s Contest: Winter Hats by Yak Apparel!

We spent last winter really stocking up on winter apparel when we lived in Colorado, Sweaters, coats, goggles, gloves, hats, ski gear and boots galore. Buying all that stuff all in one season can really get expensive so I had planned on using most of it in the years to come, however a love fashion [...]

A Travel Bag That Lets you Travel Longer!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone on the road, at an airport or to a cafe to find my laptop, tablet and phone dead within a short time because there weren’t any plugins left open. In a car at least I can plug in my phone via USB but I’ve tried converters [...]

Men’s Accessories Take it up a Notch: Soul Reign Wallet Chains

Soul Reign Wallet Chains are a step up from the average rocker or hip hop inspired waller chain trend that’s been around since the grunge days. An awesome upgrade to the heavy, base metal chains of pockets of yore, Soul Reign utilizes natural elements, real stone beads, to add a bit of class to a [...]

Nerdsday: 8 Bit Sunglasses of Awesome – Have Arrived!

Possibly you remember when I wrote a blog about Russian company, Samal Design,  producing a series of super expensive sunglasses with 8 bit style frames (here). In my opinion they weren’t all that special. Of course quality of lens can make a huge difference but not a $500 vs. $7.99 difference. I’ll take the $7.99 [...]

Photo of the day: Springing Yellow in the Street

Lots of sources keep saying that this year’s thing is Neon and whether it is because we were told so, or because it is, neon has been showing up everywhere, in stores, on the streets and I’m totally cool with that. Ever since I can remember I’ve loved neon and although many people associate it [...]

Oprah’s Fluxus Nomad Scarf and Potentially My Neck.

Oprah Fluxus Nomad Scarf is this years hot item! Like 5 of my friends just bought the Fluxus Nomad scarf, I’ve been looking for one for a month now, and much to my surprise what really tipped them off on a great one was (while they sat around the house today, and I was working) they saw the think on Oprah. Now I’m not a fan. I haven’t seen her on TV since I was a little kid and she was much bustier and more horribly dressed but apparently she has some sound style advice from time to time. I won’t however be watching her show or anything.

    Nerdsday: X-Mini Capsule Speaker

I’ve been traveling fairly consistently since about 2005 and have gotten rid of most of the bulkier things I own. I haven’t owned a record player in 2 years (yet still haul around all my records) and haven’t had a stereo or CD player in even longer, relying on my iPhone and computer for my [...]

Xochico, Retire the Cupcake, it’s Conchita time!

My friend in Santa Ana California and I exchange small presents every Christmas. Mine has yet to be sent (and wont be nearly as cool), but before she went to Mexico for the Holidays, she sent me the most adorable coin purse. At first I didn’t really get it. I speak spanish, I’ve been to [...]
