Im Kat and I pretty much run things around here. I started Street-Fashion in 2006 and slowly it has grown into the site it is today. My goal is to offer not only a cultural reference to the Street Fashion scene around the world but promote and build it with the photo gallery, shopping guides in cities around the world and articles on up and coming designers and bloggers.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve been running the site while I study and now that I am out of school I hope to take it to the next level. I recently left my life and school (Portland State University) for the second time to spend a year traveling. Previously I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, this time I am traveling the US in an awesome old RV with my boyfriend and dog.
I have always loved fashion, at times thinking I would be a designer or go into modeling but perused a career in web design, writing and photography instead. This makes a pretty good combo for blogging so I blog allot. I currently blog the most here on Street-fashion.net but I often blog about my travels at www.nerdsontheroad.com. My design website is www.lostlogodesign.com, and I often design or maintain websites for designers and clothing stores.
I make jewelry that I soon hope to sell on etsy soon along with my photography and home decor but don’t currently make any clothing. I leave that up to the talented people I blog about.
