Men have a fashion accessory that women just can’t have, facial hair. Maybe this is why mustaches are so popular on tees, jewelry and art these days (and for the last few years). Everyone should be able to fancify their face with a little home grown accessory right? Maybe beard styles aren’t for everyone, I go for piercings myself and some just like to appreciate mustaches and beards through art, graphic tees and jewelry.
Some guys are more willing than others to take on the work of maintaining facial hair for the benefits. So many beard styles to choose from, so little time to tediously maintain them. Facial hair might complete a look they’re going for, or just make them feel confident and match their personality (where being shaved would feel awkward), or maybe it’s a functional choice for the winter - either way, some guys can pull off beard styles better than others. I like an all over rugged look with a beard, or if it’s a tediously maintained mustache and/or beard, a suit and tie looks awesome.
No matter what the reason or situation, I will always appreciate these homegrown accessories.
