Healthy skin is often created from the inside out and the healthy foods you add to your diet can impact on your skin. There are some foods that are a lot better than others – let’s take a look at them.

Omega Rich Foods

Omega-3 fatty acids play a key role in skin health. Not only do they offer protection against the damaging effects of the sun but they may even minimize your chances of getting some forms of skin cancer. Fish is one of most well known natural sources of these essential fatty acids however there are many vegan options for Omega vitamins as well like Flax and Cooking Oils. Making sure that you are getting enough Omega-3s can help keep your skin healthy and nourished from the inside out.

Exotic Fruits

Fruits that are found in the tropics such as pineapple, guava, kiwi, mango and papaya are all incredible sources of vitamin C. Studies have found that getting enough vitamin C in your diet can help encourage the formation of new collagen. This, in turn, can help your skin stay healthy and supple. Vitamin C also acts as an antioxidant and protects your skin from harmful free radical.

Pumpkin SeedsPumpkin Seeds

Francesca of Bridal Makeup Kent says that if you are looking for an excellent natural source of zinc, look no further than pumpkin seeds. Zinc helps the body maintain healthy skin in a number of different ways. For one thing, it helps provide protection for the membranes of your cells. Additionally, it also aids in the production of collagen and encourages the skin to renew itself. If you don’t like snacking on pumpkin seeds on their own, you can always add them to baked goods or yogurt.

Foods that are made from whole grains are rich in selenium. This powerful mineral provides protection for your skin against the damaging effects of the environment. It also helps keep your skin supple and healthy. Most experts recommend against taking selenium supplements since it can be harmful if you consume too much. Instead, it is far better to get it from foods that are rich in selenium such as whole grains.

Broccoli

Vitamins C and E are both well known for their powerful skin benefits. Broccoli is an excellent natural source for both. By eating a lot of broccoli, you can help improve the elasticity of your skin by encouraging more collagen production. Vitamin E also provides a number of benefits including protecting your skin against the potentially harmful effects of the sun’s UV rays.

Carrots

Beta-carotene is a powerful antioxidant that gives carrots their orange color. In the body, it is transformed into vitamin A. This essential vitamin helps keep skin healthy and strong while at the same time providing protection against sun damage. To eat more of these crunchy vegetables, try snacking on them raw or adding them to cooked dishes.20160323183014171

Water

Although it is technically not a food, water is one of the most important things that you can consume if you want to keep your skin healthy. It is essential to practically every bodily function, ranging from getting rid of harmful toxins to carrying essential nutrients throughout your body. Being fully hydrated can even help your skin look plumper and healthier. Along with making sure that you drink plenty of water each day, consider eating foods such as fruits that naturally have a high water content. This is an excellent way to make sure that your body is properly hydrated.

    Eco-Friendly Travel

Traveling enriches the soul, but it can also take a toll on the planet. We aim to shift this by promoting eco-friendly travel habits. Our content focuses on how to minimize carbon footprints, suggesting destinations that support sustainable tourism, and providing tips on how to travel responsibly. Whether it’s choosing public transportation over flying or selecting accommodations that are committed to sustainability, every small change counts.

    Alternative Materials to Leather

Furthering our commitment to the planet, we explore and endorse alternative materials to leather. With numerous innovative and sustainable materials now available, there's no need to rely on traditional leather. From plant-based options like mushroom and cactus leather to recycled materials, we guide you through the benefits and sustainability profiles of each alternative.

    Second-Hand Fashion

In our fight against fast fashion, we encourage shopping for second-hand fashion. Not only does this reduce waste and demand for new resources, but it also diminishes the impact on landfill sites. We provide insights on finding quality second-hand clothing, upcycling fashion items, and creating personal style without contributing to unsustainable practices.

    Cruelty-Free Beauty Products

Beauty should not come at the cost of cruelty. We promote cruelty-free beauty products that do not test on animals and are free of animal-derived ingredients. By spotlighting brands that uphold these standards, we guide readers towards making conscious, ethical choices in their beauty routines.

Through our efforts, we hope to inspire a wave of change, encouraging more people to adopt sustainable lifestyles. Let’s protect our environment and make ethical choices in every aspect of our lives. Join us on this journey to a more sustainable, compassionate world.
