HiStyley: LA’s Street Fashion Scout

HiStyley l Rodeo Drive Street Style #32, originally uploaded by tittyboo1.

Swedish born LA resident and street fashion photographer, Tittyboo, has made herself the inside lens on the street fashion scene of the Los Angeles area. Launching the website, HiStyley.com in September, shes caught the eyes of street fashion fans globally in just a few short months. A regular contributor to the Street-Fashion.net flickr group and fan of SF blogs and photographers worldwide, she aspired to contribute with photos from the scarcely documented LA scene. All the photos on the website are candid, an important element in expressing an accurate view of a local scene, and every photo is shot skillfully with a professional SLR; Something other well known SF blogs and sites ( hel looks, cool hunter, face hunter) have used successfully to make the photos more visually appealing, professional looking and not to mention they also express colors more accurately. HiStyley will be around for a long while so make sure to bookmark her site, and while your at it look through all the archives, because catching up now will be allot easier now than in a few years.

Our Mission for a Sustainable Future

At the heart of our website, our mission is to enlighten and empower individuals about the importance of sustainability and responsible, eco-friendly travel habits. As global citizens, it's crucial to adopt practices that respect and preserve the natural world we live in.

Eco-Friendly Travel

Traveling enriches the soul, but it can also take a toll on the planet. We aim to shift this by promoting eco-friendly travel habits. Our content focuses on how to minimize carbon footprints, suggesting destinations that support sustainable tourism, and providing tips on how to travel responsibly. Whether it’s choosing public transportation over flying or selecting accommodations that are committed to sustainability, every small change counts.

Alternative Materials to Leather

Furthering our commitment to the planet, we explore and endorse alternative materials to leather. With numerous innovative and sustainable materials now available, there's no need to rely on traditional leather. From plant-based options like mushroom and cactus leather to recycled materials, we guide you through the benefits and sustainability profiles of each alternative.

Second-Hand Fashion

In our fight against fast fashion, we encourage shopping for second-hand fashion. Not only does this reduce waste and demand for new resources, but it also diminishes the impact on landfill sites. We provide insights on finding quality second-hand clothing, upcycling fashion items, and creating personal style without contributing to unsustainable practices.

Cruelty-Free Beauty Products

Beauty should not come at the cost of cruelty. We promote cruelty-free beauty products that do not test on animals and are free of animal-derived ingredients. By spotlighting brands that uphold these standards, we guide readers towards making conscious, ethical choices in their beauty routines.

Through our efforts, we hope to inspire a wave of change, encouraging more people to adopt sustainable lifestyles. Let’s protect our environment and make ethical choices in every aspect of our lives. Join us on this journey to a more sustainable, compassionate world.
