The idea for Kandi Beadz came from an electronic festival and what a great idea it is! These unique, colorful pieces are one step beyond the popular tradeable pony beaded bracelets found at festivals around the world by adding extra elements of fun, safety and quality!

ABOUT THE PROJECT: In the mid nineties, when raves were still rare and few, there was a movement called P.L.U.R. (Peace. Love. Unity. Respect). Handmade pony beaded bracelets were traded symbolically, as a sign of friendship. We are regenerating the style by adding the L.E.D lights. Kandi Beadz (www.kandibeadz.com ). Through fostering connections between young people in the dance community we hope to create enough friendships, with the ultimate purpose of building a stronger, drug free society.
