As part of its In-Real-Life (IRL) tour, popular online retailer ModCloth will be opening a brick and mortar store during the month of July at Pioneer Place Mall. As ModCloth continues to expand with its loyal following of fashion-forward women, the Portland pop-up shop will showcase ModCloth’s unique indie and vintage-inspired styles and bring ModCloth’s online community to life.
The third stop on its five-city IRL tour, Portland was an obvious choice as it’s one of the retailer’s top-performing cities. Portland’s culture seamlessly embodies ModCloth’s commitment to self-expression and personal style. It was also a natural fit for ModCloth to choose Pioneer Place Mall as their home for July. The General Growth Properties (GGP) owned and operated mall is the city’s mecca for a distinctive shopping, dining and cultural experience.
The ModCloth pop-up at Pioneer Place Mall features the company’s hybrid showroom and store concept that evolves the traditional retail model to meet the needs of millennial shoppers and a changing industry. Offerings include a curated collection of ModCloth styles chosen specifically for Portland. — In addition to dresses, separate, shoes, graphic tees, accessories, home decor, one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, there will be local offerings from Portland artists.
Throughout the month of July, ModCloth will also be hosting store events with local musicians. Shoppers will have the opportunity to schedule free personalized appointments with on-site ModStylists for expert fit and styling guidance.
