Warby Parker Sunglasses – On the Road to Spring!

Although it’s still cold in much of the country, believe it or not, spring it on it’s way and we’re back on the road to warmer weather (physically on the road as well as metaphorically).  We just left our winter cabin rental and are back to traveling the country, starting with a month in Oklahoma City which sent us from 30 degrees in Colorado to a balmy 78 degrees!

Upon arriving here and finding the weather so much more inviting, we wen’t shopping our first weekend in town for some summer essentials: tank tops, sandals and some short shorts to wear over leggings (as is my style these days). When I got home I realized that I still don’t have any decent sunglasses for this coming summer!
I hate forking over a ton of money on sunglasses because I will for a fact end up scratching them up within the first  year or so of owning them, so I prefer to have one nice pair, reasonably priced, then a couple other cheap pairs for variety.

I recently found a great new collection being made by Warby Parker this year, The Palm Canyon Collection – in awesome styles for me and my boyfriend. I’ve been day dreaming about my summer outfits as the weather here continues to rise and soon enough we’ll be in Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee and Georgia, both on the beach and in the cities where sunglasses matter the most!

I found inspiration with these outfits and some of my favorite Warby Parker Spring Styles

A Cat Lover’s Summer:

This outfit features the Warby Parker Walker in Canton BlueNautical Stripe Dresss by debenhams.com, a vintage whale necklace by Lost Kat Studios and of course a ton of great books!

I wear actual prescription glasses and with glasses you especially don’t have much variety and have to take extra care of them. One of things I found really interesting about Warby Parker was their Home Try-on – “5 Days, 5 Pairs, 100% Free” policy where they’ll send you some frames OR sunglasses to try on so you can see them in person, then send them back with some knowledge about what you’re getting under your belt! The actual Warby Parker locations are few and far between so having an option like this is awesome!

There’s a ton of great glasses and sunglasses styles at Warby Parker, and they just happen to have some items at a shop in Oklahoma City! So I know where I’ll be going this weekend.
